The Open Enrollment Program allows students to attend school districts other than the one in which they live. Students are accepted by nonresident districts based on availability of space at each grade level and priorities set by the Department of Public Instruction (DPI). Do not call the bus company.Parents will also be notified of school closings via AlertNow instant messaging system. Please see below for additional information.

Instant Messaging System Will Notify Parents of School Closings and Other Urgent Messages. School Messenger is an instant messaging system that WUHS uses to contact mass numbers of people quickly and efficiently. The computer-based program can alert parents, students, and staff of school cancellations, emergencies, or other important events. SchoolMessenger will work with our student information system which houses the emergency cards collected at the start of the school year. It will therefore be ever so important for the school to receive current and accurate information from those cards this year. Equally important will be making sure you contact the Student Services Office in case of a change or update in information as the school year progresses.
