

Craig Kohn grew up on a dairy farm near Green Bay, WI. He attended the University of Wisconsin - Madison and received bachelors degrees in Biology and Agricultural Science as well as teaching licenses in biology, agriculture, and environmental science. He taught agriscience at Waterford for eight years before completing a dual-Ph.D. at Michigan State University in science education and environmental science. In addition to teaching, Dr. Kohn also works as an education researcher. His research focuses on developing curriculum and instruction that improves students' science literacy and results in more informed decision-making. When he's not teaching or researching, Dr. Kohn enjoys kayaking, backpacking, biking, skiing, fishing, and gardening.
