Community Pottery Class

Join our art instructor, Brett Roberts, for a five-session community pottery class at Waterford Union High School. This class will focus on the basic throwing skills to create forms on the potter’s wheel. The final class will be spent glazing. The final piece will be fired and picked up at a later date.

5 Sessions- Monday and Thursdays from 5pm-7:30pm

  • Thursday, November 10 – Intro to the potter’s wheel
  • Monday, November 14 – Continuing on the potter’s wheel, making small forms, and building skills.
  • Thursday, November 17 – Making mugs with handles.
  • Monday, November 21 – Final class working with clay. (All forms need to be completed by class end.)
  • There will be no class during Thanksgiving break
  • Monday, November 28. – Glazing and firing pieces. We will schedule a pickup day for finished pots.

Skill Level- Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced

Age: Recommended for ages 16 and up

Holiday Cookie Bake and Exchange Class

Join the FIRST holiday cookie baking and exchange class at Waterford Union High School. You will be baking with our staff members Taylor Juran and Carrie Rydzewski! The class takes place on December 10th at 10 am in the kitchen facilities at Waterford Union High School. The cost is $45 per box of cookies; you may have up to two people per box. Each box will contain about 50 cookies from the following flavors:
  • Cutouts with decorating
  • Funfetti Shortbread Bites
  • Gingersnap Molasses
  • Peanut Butter Kiss
  • Pecan Snowball Cookie
  • Holiday M & M Cookie Bars
  • Lemon Crinkle
  • Death By Chocolate Peppermint Cookie
