Virtual learning defined: Instruction at home may consist of Modern Classroom Project lessons (asynchronous video instruction) or Google Meet class session (synchronous instruction). Google meets instruction may be supplemented with electronic learning resources that may include digital modules, online tutorials, Loom videos, independent projects, and/or other available tools such as Pear Deck, Quizziz, etc. Individual classroom teachers will communicate with their students whether their class will be synchronous or asynchronous.

Expectations: Wednesday, February 22, 2023, will be a Day 2 rotation following this schedule.

 

Teacher Contact: Teachers will be engaged in shared collaborative/prep time from 7:25 – 8:00 AM. Teachers will post asynchronous lessons and Google Meet links in Google Classroom by no later than 8:00 AM on Wednesday, February 22. Teachers will host virtual office hours for students from 2:00-3:00 PM.

Virtual Classroom Expectations: Students will be active participants with their cameras turned on while in an appropriate location (at a desk or table or chair). Students will attend their virtual session during the assigned time.

Attendance will be recorded: Completion of asynchronous lessons. Active participation during scheduled synchronous times. Teachers will record attendance in PowerSchool. Active participation is defined as: Completing work, asking questions, responding to questions, and present during the expected time as defined by your individual teacher.
